Annapurna Panorama

Description

The Annapurna region is regarded as the most popular place for trekking destination with much flexible possibilities. It has stunning mountain scenery from most of the high spots. As it is popular and more touristic, trails are well maintained by village communities with local and foreign and many good quality local lodges are coming up. We explore the terraced hillsides and beautiful forest, meet friendly villagers and enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery in style and comfort.

From Kathmandu, we drive or fly west to Pokhara. After meeting with your guide and staff, we drive to the trek starting point at Naya Pul. From here we follow the Modi Khola to the picturesque village of Shyauli, back-dropped by stunning views of the “fishtail” peak Machhapuchare (6993m), ascend through terraced fields and small thatched hamlets to Ghandruk. It has big old and new Gurung villages. The lodges mainly are at new Ghandruk. Explore the local village and enjoy taking pictures of magnificent views of Annapurna South, Himchuli, Machha Puchhare which dominates the skyline beyond the village.

Continue the trail through magnificent forests of oak and rhododendron to Tadapani and then continue to climb above the tree line to an alpine ridge at Deurali (2860m). You will be staying in Ghorepani after we explore Poon Hill (3200m) which is the main view point destination. It has panoramic view point of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges with many other mountains and with Kali Gandaki gorge (Deepest gorge in the World). We return Hille descending hundreds of steps to Ulleri and Tirkedunga. After, we drive back to Pokhara, visit local shops and spend time by the lake or do some extra activities as per you interest.
