Mrs. Ang Dali Sherpa
In 1982, following the sudden passing of her husband, the Late Mr. Ang Kami Sherpa, Mrs. Ang Dali Sherpa took on the leadership of Sherpa Society with quiet strength and unwavering resolve. With the steadfast support of a dedicated team—including Lhakpa Sonam Sherpa, the late Ang Tsering Sherpa, the late Ang Tendi Sherpa, the late Mohan Gurung, and Pasang Maya Sherpa—she guided the company through periods of growth, transformation, and national uncertainty.
Mrs. Sherpa is deeply admired within her community for her humility, compassion, and enduring commitment. For over four decades, she led Sherpa Society through Nepal’s changing social and political landscape, always remaining true to its founding values of service, authenticity, and respect for culture and nature.
Under her thoughtful leadership, Sherpa Society became a gateway for thousands of travelers from around the world to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, and Sikkim. At the same time, the company evolved into a training ground for young tourism professionals—many of whom began their careers under her guidance and went on to become respected figures in the industry.
Though now retired from active duty, Mrs. Sherpa’s legacy continues to shape the heart and spirit of Sherpa Society. Her story remains an integral part of our foundation and an inspiration for the future.

Meena Sherpa
Meena Sherpa has been involved in Nepal’s tourism sector since 1992, looking after the overall management, sales, and customer coordination at Sherpa Society. With a background in Business Management and Buddhist Studies, she enjoys planning thoughtful and personalized trips for visitors based on their interests and comfort.
Inspired by Buddhist values, Meena prefers to keep life simple and balanced. She believes in working with honesty and care, and enjoys meeting new people from different cultures.
Meena has also taken part in local community, cultural, and environmental projects over the years. She has traveled to many countries to promote Nepal’s tourism and has explored different trekking regions across the country herself.
She continues to support Sherpa Society with her team, focusing on creating meaningful and enjoyable travel experiences for all who visit Nepal.

Tenzin Jigme Sherpa
Tenzin Jigme Sherpa graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada. After gaining valuable education and work experience in Vancouver and Toronto, he returned to Nepal eager to contribute to the tourism industry with fresh ideas and a global perspective.
An avid football player and physically active individual, Tenzin is passionate about trekking and mountain climbing. He has extensive experience trekking across many regions of Nepal, which deepens his connection to the Himalayan landscape and culture.
Tenzin has also traveled to numerous countries, broadening his understanding of international tourism trends and digital media. In his role, he manages Sherpa Society’s website design and updates, and oversees our presence on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. With a keen eye for detail and a love for storytelling, he ensures our online image truly reflects the spirit, values, and mission of Sherpa Society.

We are delighted to welcome Tsering Lhamo Gurung as a trekking guide in our Sherpa Society team. Tsering is a dedicated and enthusiastic professional who has successfully completed her academic studies along with specialized training in tourism and trekking.
She brings valuable field experience, having guided trekking groups in the remote and culturally rich regions of Far Western Nepal, particularly Dolpo and Upper Mustang. Known for her patience, commitment, and warm hospitality, Tsering is eager to take on new challenges and expand her guiding experience across different trekking regions of Nepal.
Her passion for learning, combined with her deep respect for local culture and nature, makes her a reliable and inspiring guide for travelers who seek both adventure and authentic cultural encounters.
