TIBET:
Roof of the world.

Hidden behind the Himalaya, Tibet is a magical realm of clear light and pure colour, rising more than two miles above sea level. The wide-open spaces of the Tibetan Plateau are drenched in the dazzling light of altitude and topped by the towering peaks of the Himalaya. South of this vast Tibetan plateau is an extensive area of mountainous grazing land inhabited by wild looking nomads, living in yak hair tents, their livelihood dependant on their herds of sheep, goats and yaks. Tibet can be approached by overland or by air depends on the specific itineraries.
